Life is a marathon – know the destination but enjoy the journey. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that it’s critical to celebrate milestones. Everyone’s milestones are different than the next person, just like mine are different from yours. When we celebrate them, there are smiles, laughter, toasts, and sometimes even tears of joy. In between those celebrations is the work, grind, and challenges we might face from day to day. I’m not saying that every day is filled with challenge after challenge, I’m saying that when we get to those celebrations, the challenges are made worth it.

As a native of Colorado, I’ve seen changes all over the city, even the mountains and the plains. We’ve expanded in this area, increased our population in that area, but what has remained the same is love and the presence of people. Love is something that will always be around. It’s a matter of how we spread it and make it visible. I do my part by encouraging others, offering a compliment here and there, and doing what I can to empower another to know they have what it takes – it’s my way of making an impression.

I’ve learned in life that there are people who will love you because they love you and there are people who will hate you because that’s what they choose. Well, I choose to love - I refuse to waste time in hate. I love a good conversation, good music, cooking, exercising, and spending time with family. By the way, it’s nothing like a beautiful woman with a pretty smile.

I’ve earned the degrees - Bachelor of Arts in English from MSU Denver & Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver, as I was a public and private school educator/leader; I’ve earned the licenses and certificates – ministry, K-6 & 7-12 content teacher, principal license, real estate license, transformative leadership; more importantly, I’ve always been about my faith. Now I don’t live in a box because Yahweh is not a box God. I live my life and enjoy it to the fullest effect that it may be a testimony of His greatness.

Photography is nothing new for me. It’s one of my original loves that started back in my teenage years. I’d dabble with it here and there keeping my passion for it, but in realizing it helped me get through 2020, I’d go further in embracing it. A positive image of self is critical in confidence. Imagine if someone else told your story and used the worse images of you that they could find. I create the good images of you for that very reason, so that years from now - whether 10 years of 110 years — when someone else does tell your story, you’re seen at your best.

I’d be honored to solidify the image showcasing the celebration & love of the milestone for that moment in your life. Again, my goal is to help you visually tell your story, so that it’s told the way you desire.

Spread love, not hate, and let’s be good to each other.
